I'm trying to get server-side XML/XSL Transformations going using PHP and the Sablotron extension. I've tried with Sablotron 0.50 and 0.44 with expat 1.95.1 and 1.1.2 respectively. No matter what I try I can't seem to get php to compile with the --with-sablot flag specified. Nothing else seems to cause this problem with php. Trying to build with Sablot 0.50 and expat 1.95.1 configure fails and is unable to find xmltok, and I can't seem to convince anything to create that library, so I dropped back to Sablot 0.44 hoping for better results because the binary package includes these files. Trying to build with Sablot 0.44 and expat 1.1.2 I can configure php without errors, but make fails. Here's the line of output from my 'make' attempt where the error seems to occur: /bin/sh /root/php-4.0.4/libtool --silent --mode=compile gcc -I. -I/root/php-4.0.4/ext/sablot -I/root/php-4.0.4/main -I/root/php-4.0.4 -I/usr/local/apache/include -I/root/php-4.0.4/Zend -I/usr/local/include -I/root/php-4.0.4/ext/xml/expat/xmltok -I/root/php-4.0.4/ext/xml/expat/xmlparse -I/root/php-4.0.4/TSRM -DLINUX=2 -DUSE_HSREGEX -DUSE_EXPAT -DXML_BYTE_ORDER=12 -g -02 -c sablot.c In file included from sablot.c:24: sablot.h:97: parse error before `SablotHandle' sablot.h:97: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union sablot.h:99: warning: data definition has no type or storage class sablot.h:109: parse error before `SablotHandle' sablot.h:109: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union sablot.h:110: warning: data definition has no type or storage class sablot.c:40: parse error before `*' sablot.c:42: parse error before `_php_sablot_sax_startDoc' ... I can't seem to find a definition for SablotHandle (and my best guess is that the compiler can't either). I've noticed that php_sablot.h and sablot.h are identical, but I don't know if they're supposed to be that way. Anybody out there have any ideas? - Theo
