PHP4-Apache=MySQL

I have successfully configured this combination, at the ./configure completion I get a warning that I used the --with-mysql option and that I should only use this if I will not be using mysql anywhere else. So I re-ran the configure with the --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql I get an error stating that it cannot locate the mysqlclient header file. 1) I am using mysql with Perl and Apache only at this point can I use the --with-mysql option ? 2) Am I pointing to the wrong location for mysql ? The above location is where the files were 'tarred' to. Thanks Mark
