Hi all !
After installing and configuring php, I reconfigure Apache :
configure --prefix=/users/lsi_01/lvanstae/apache
--activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a --enable-module=all
I get the followwing :
Configuring for Apache, Version 1.3.9
+ using installation path layout: Apache (config.layout)
+ activated php4 module (modules/php4/libphp4.a)
Creating Makefile
Creating Configuration.apaci in src
Creating Makefile in src
+ configured for DEC OSF/1 platform
+ setting C compiler to gcc
+ setting C pre-processor to gcc -E
+ checking for system header files
+ adding selected modules
o rewrite_module uses ConfigStart/End
enabling DBM support for mod_rewrite
o dbm_auth_module uses ConfigStart/End
o db_auth_module uses ConfigStart/End
using Berkeley-DB/1.x for mod_auth_db (-ldb)
o php4_module uses ConfigStart/End
+ checking sizeof various data types
+ doing sanity check on compiler and options
** A test compilation with your Makefile configuration
** failed. This is most likely because your C compiler
** is not ANSI. Apache requires an ANSI C Compiler, such
** as gcc. The above error message from your compiler
** will also provide a clue.
Aborting!
I just don't understand : it's the line --activate-module that gives the error
message. When I don't put it in the configure options, all goes well, but php is
not activated.
Please help !!!
