compiling php with odbc support

Dear All,
I have to put php to connect to an odbc database.
If php don't have native support for it ( D3, Picksystems ), how can I compile it to accept
'configure --with-custom-odbc' ?
I tried, but the script needs an lib ( odbc.h ) that doesn't exists...
