That sounds like you need to check for the existance of a line like the following in your httpd.conf: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml .php3 .html That line tells Apache to recognise that there is PHP scripting in files with the extensions .php .phtml .php3 and .html Your precise selections may vary. After you add that line to your httpd.conf, make sure that you STOP then START apache. That makes sure that the config file is re-readm whereas just "restarting" it might not.
