Hello,
I am trying to install PHP4 (4.0.4pl1) entirely in a local user's directory
and have made a number of configuration changes like naming the
config-file-path location and everything configures and compiles correctly.
However, when I run make install, it breaks with the error message:
cp: cannot create regular file '/usr/local/lib/#INST@2264#': Permission
denied
What is it trying to do and how can I get it to try to do it in the local
user's directory?
