Could this be a bug in the PHP code:
https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=78769
Is __builtin_cpu_init part of PHP source code and what does __builtin_cpu_init function do?
Is it trying to check for some CPU flags that are not existent on your particular CPU?

I have had issues when compiling apache and PHP with the distro versions installed. They don't always work well side by side.Hi Keith, I never installed them. The initial installation was a minimal one and I always compiled these programs from source. But I re-checked and I have no distro versions of them. While checking distro or old versions of programs, I deleted any older version of gcc (in case of some lib confusion), but no change. I also checked the source code of PHP: The function __builtin_cpu_init was first used in the 7.3 versions, which explaines why I am not able to use any newer version as 7.2.x atm. In 7.2.33 this function is not used. KaiKeith On 12/08/2020 17:09, Kai Fürstenberg wrote:Hello everybody, and thank you for you help so far. I played around with gdb a little bit. I re-configured php the way I did in 7.2 (just with some slight modifications), to use mysql, gd and some other things.
