I did make distclean. It seems that the resulting binary just keeps to be the same or almost the same, I didn't save the original. What should I see in the configure output which is different from not using --with-ssl? How can I ensure that --with-ssl has been successfully implemented? And if it is, then it's obviously not the cure - what do I need to do then? Thanks for any tips.
