problems on solaris

i tried to install php 4.0.4.pl1 with external mysql support on solaris 2.7 does not work. when i install it with --with-mysql things are ok but there are path problems mysql 3.23.33 installed itself in the following places the so libraries in /usr/local/lib/mysql and and the header files in /usr/local/include/mysql and i created a new dir /usr/local/mysql and put links to lib and include in there. then, i could compile. but apachectl configtest gives an error message that it cannot find libmysqlclient.so.10 how can i get this configuration working. i also want to comple additional external modules, so i need to know how to configure this. please help -- Erich Neuwirth, Computer Supported Didactics Working Group Visit our SunSITE at http://sunsite.univie.ac.at Phone: +43-1-4277-38624 Fax: +43-1-4277-9386
