I was hoping someone could help me out, I have been
trying to install php 4.0.2 on my RedHat 6.2 Linux
system with the 2.2.16 kernel (updated from 2.2.14). I
am running the RedHat secureserver version of apache.
I receive the following error whenever I try to run
configure.
"Something is likely to be messed up here, because the
configure script was not able to detect a simple
feature on your platform. This is often caused by
incorrect configuration parameters. Please see the
file debug.log for error messages."
I did do that and I do not quite understand what I am
looking for there. The following are two configure
scripts I have run, both leaving me with the same
error... The debug.log is attatched to this message.
./configure \
--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs \
--with-readline=/usr/include/readline \
--with-pdflib=/usr/local/include \
--with-mm=/usr/include/mm.h \
--with-mhash=/usr/include \
--with-imap=/usr \
--with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd/conf \
--with-gd=/usr/local/gd-1.8.3 \
--with-xpm-dir=/usr/local/gd-1.8.3/ \
--with-tiff-dir=/usr/local/include \
--with-ttf=/usr/lib/ \
--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/include \
--with-mysql=/usr \
--with-pgsql=/usr \
--with-ldap=/usr \
--enable-versioning \
--enable-magic-quotes \
--enable-sockets \
--enable-bcmath \
--enable-calendar \
--enable-exif \
--enable-ftp \
--disable-short-tags
./configure \
--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs \
--with-pdflib=/usr/local/include \
--with-mm=/usr/include/mm.h \
--with-mhash=/usr/include \
--with-imap=/usr \
--with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd/conf \
--with-gd=/usr/local/gd-1.8.3 \
--with-xpm-dir=/usr/local/gd-1.8.3/ \
--with-tiff-dir=/usr/local/include \
--with-ttf=/usr/lib/ \
--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/include \
--with-mysql=/usr \
--with-pgsql=/usr \
--enable-calendar \
--enable-exif \
--disable-short-tags
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
