Hi,
Now that I'm awake ;o), can you try compiling with the --without-mysql added
in your configure line. If after configure has run it comes up with the
'Something is likely to be messed up here....' warning then go into the PHP4
directory and send me your debug.log file.
It *seems* that it's not grizzling about the Informix part which is strange
because in my and a fellow phper's experience this is usally the case. Try
the above and we'll see how far we get and just keep eliminating things
until it gets built.
Just for reference I actually use the gcc compiler and have some of the
other GNU tools installed. I'm told PHP should compile using the SCO
development cc compiler but have not tred it myself. There is a
pre-compiled, 'just untar' version of gcc at the sco website. I use version
2.95.2pl1 19991024.
