I know this one ;-) If you look in /usr/include/sys, both pthread.h and unistd.h define pthread_atfork(). Unfortunately, they do it inconsistantly: sys/pthread.h: extern int pthread_atfork(void (*prepare)(void), void (*parent)(void), void (*child)(void)); sys/unistd.h: extern int pthread_atfork(void (*prepare)(), void (*parent)(),void (*child)()); They both arguably mean the same thing, but the compiler doesn't think so. You'll have to hack the source a bit, copy unistd.h to my_unistd.h, change it to match the pthread version, and include my_unistd.h instead. Alternatively you might choose to just edit the include file directly - that was my personal solution. james -- James Greenhalgh - Unix Systems Architect FIGHT THE RIP BILL! www.stand.org.uk Your privacy depends on it!
