Please | | see the file debug.log for error messages. | | | | If you are unable to fix this, send the file debug.log to the | | php-install@lists.php.net mailing list and include appropiate | | information about your setup. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| my configure line was: ./configure --enable-track-vars --with-gd - -with-mysql --with-apxs=/var/lib/apache/sbin/apxs So here is acopy of the debug.log below: -------------------------debug.log------------------------------------------ -- alita:/usr/local/src/php/php-4.0.3# less ./debug.log CONFIGURE: './configure' '--enable-track-vars' '--with-gd' '--with-mysql=/usr/ local/mysql' '--with-apxs=/var/lib/apache/sbin/apxs' CC: gcc CFLAGS: -g -O2 CPPFLAGS: CXX: CXXFLAGS: INCLUDES: -I/var/lib/apache/include -I$(top_builddir)/Zend -I$(top_srcdi r) - I/usr/local/mysql/include/mysql LDFLAGS: -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql -L/usr/local/mysql/lib/my sql LIBS: -lmysqlclient -lgd -lresolv -lm -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lresolv DLIBS: SAPI: apache PHP_RPATHS: /usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql uname -a: Linux alita 2.2.16 #2 Sat Sep 2 07:45:02 EDT 2000 i586 unknown gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql -L/usr/local/mysq l/lib/mysql onftest.c -lmysqlclient -lgd -lresolv -lm -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lres olv 1>&5 /usr/i386-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot open -lgd: No such file or directory collect2: ld returned 1 exit status ---------------------end of debug.log----------------------------------------- I'm running slackware 7.1 on intel platform with Apache 1.3.12.
