If you try to install on Linux.. just stop by www.devshed.com click on serverside and look for something that sounds like "The smoothest setup of MySQL PHP and Apache".. that will provide you with a step by step manual to install these fine packages from source. Furthermore.. don't forget to check the manual and FAQ on php.net .. has quite a few useful hints.. Bye, B.
