I had that one too on a 11.00 machine. DL_UNLOAD is used in a couple of places in the code as an alias for dlclose. You either need to link in -ldl (if you have it - mine is missing!), or disable the dynamic loading module support _within php_. The places it's used, as far as I spotted with the features I had enabled, is in php-4.0.x/Zend, and php-4.0.x/ext/standard - grep in the source files of those directories for DL_UNLOAD, since one of the places it's used doesn't have an #if statement checking for HAVE_LIBDL. You can just cd into those directories and 'make clean', fiddle with things, and make again. Typing 'nm .libs/*.al | grep DL_UNLOAD' should tell you if it's still getting included in the library. When you've got rid of them, 'rm .libs/* libphp4.* libs/*' in the PHP top level directory followed by a make should rebuild the library with your fixed parts. Of course - if you _do_ have /usr/lib/libdl.sl, just edit php-4.0.x/php_config.h and fix the defines for HAVE_LIBDL, then do a make clean;make hope thats useful, james On Tue, 17 Oct 2000 17:16:12 GMT "Huy Nguyen" <humbao@hotmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > > > I am real close.
