I managed to get php 3.0.18rc something or other to run on zipslack 7.1...
FWIW...if using the above version of zipslack you will need to install the
following slackware packages:
linuxinc.tgz
bison.tgz
yacc.tgz
flex.tgz
You would think this material would be included in the slackware
distribution....
I would also suggest the lastest snapshot of php3.x from snapshot.php.net
