I'm getting a linker error when trying to compile php-4.0.3pl1. I think I see what the problem is. An empty -l option and two -lresolv entries appear in the debug.log in LIBS, which ld doesn't like. Am I configuring this wrong? The only oddity I have on my system is a beta version of mysql. Here's my configuration: ./configure --enable-track-vars --with-apache=../apache_1.3.14 --with-mysql=/usr/local --with-mm --with-gd --with-ttf --with-t1lib --with-db3 --with-xml Here's my debug.log file ========================= LIBS: -lmm -lmysqlclient -lt1 -lttf -lgd -l -lresolv -lm -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lresolv DLIBS: SAPI: apache PHP_RPATHS: /usr/local/lib /usr/local/lib/mysql uname -a: Linux zaab.zoomedia.com 2.2.17 #1 Fri Sep 29 10:39:32 PDT 2000 i686 unknown gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/lib -L/usr/local/lib -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/lib/mysql -L/usr/local/lib/mysql conftest.c -lmm -lmysqlclient -lt1 -lttf -lgd -l -lresolv -lm -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lresolv 1>&5 /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -l--library=resolv collect2: ld returned 1 exit status =========================
