PHP + PostgreSQL compiling problesms

Hi everyone. i am compiling PHP to use it with apache and i get this
problem:
./configure --with-pgsql=/usr/local/pgsql --enable-track-vars
--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs (this runs OK)
then 'make' and i get this:
stub.lo: file not recognized: File truncated
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/php-4.0.6'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
i have instaled Pgsql then apache (in DSO mode)..
someone could help me?
