set/configure php4apache's php.ini location ?

is there a way to set the location of the .ini to use as php.ini when the apache 1.3.x module loads? my system is working fine, but i also use php as a non-web scripting engine and i wanted to keep the .ini's separate - (yes i know i could leave the module using php.ini and force all of the non-web's to use something else with params to the php.exe, but it might be confusing to someone else that way for example...) -ben
