What flavour of Linux are you using? Most distributions come with a
'software manager'. For example, with Mandrake 8.1, the software manager
lists all RPM packages on the distribution CD's. Various modules for php
are listed there and it's as simple as checking the box and clicking on
'install'. The php.ini was even configured automatically.
If you supply more info about your version of Linux, I'm sure someone will
know the answer.

Dear all,
I am a new user to use Linux and PHP, I don't know how to load the modules
by editing the php.ini.
Since I would like to load the dbase modules but I cannot find this. I can
find the libphp4.so only.
a.. So, can any tell me how can I find this modules and load it?
b.. What should me do to make "dbase" work?
Since I have tried to solve it for two weeks and my boss seem very angry,
can you tell me do this please? I don't want to loss my work.
