Re: IRIX 6.5.7 Install(?) failure... 4.0.2

Hi Folks, An update and request... Update: I have now tried using the 4.0.3RC1 snapshot release and the same errors occur in the make. I have filed a bug report with the id of 6854. Here is an exerpt: -------------------- Procedure is as follows with some condensation. from tcsh shell with setenv CC cc install fails with 5 errors in compile of zend_execute.c. ./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql/ --enable-track-vars --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs one error example: "./zend_execute.h", line 57: error(1113): function "safe_free_zval_ptr" was referenced but not defined ZEND_API inline void safe_free_zval_ptr(zval *p) ---snip---- 5 errors detected in the compilation of "./zend_execute.c". *** Error code 1 (bu21) *** Error code 1 (bu21) ---------------------- Maybe this makes sense giving what others may have seen. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Request: Has anyone been successful in installing php-4.0.x on an SGI IRIX box with apache 1.3.x/mod? If so, would you mind sharing your magic? 8-) I have been unable to get php-4.0.x (x=1,2,3rc1) to install and am trying to decide with to abandon my efforts on this platform. I have apache/php4.0.2/mysql running nicely on a different (linux). Thanks for any direction...
