Help! For some reason colossus can't get the PHP and FP ext. at the same time on our server
running, I gave them the info from the FAQ about the problem, and they responded: We have tright it
in the past but it has never worked! any Ideas about this? here is all the info on the system.
Thanks Dietmar
Well, according to what Colossus says 'should' be on the server:
DEDICATED SERVER PROGRAMS
Dedicated servers include the programs Apache 1.3.12, Cgiemail, CGI.pm,
CGIWRAP, Embperl 1.3b5, Front Page 97 or 98 (Having FP on a server can
interfere with advanced functions such as servlets.), GD.pm, Java,
Javascript, Java Servlets, mod_perl 1.18, MySQL 3.22.32, Perl 5.004, and
PHP4.
Fractal Imagers, Infinop's wavelet image compression, Macromedia's Flash,
Macromedia's Shockwave, Maple, Mathematica, Midi, NET TOOB for MPEG,
ToolBook II Instructor, TrueSpeech Digital Audio, VivoActive, VocalTec
Internet Phone, Voxware, and VRML, support included.
NEW! -- Servlet support includes JServ 1.1.2, JSSI 1.1.2, JDK 117v1a, JSDK
2.0, gnujsp 1.0.1 with JavaBean support, Cocoon, and support for JDBC
connections to mSQL2 and MySQL.
Apache support includes the following modules: mod_access, mod_actions,
mod_alias, mod_asis, mod_auth, mod_auth_anon, mod_auth_db, mod_auth_dbm,
mod_autoindex, mod_cern_meta, mod_cgi, mod_digest, mod_dir, mod_env,
mod_example, mod_expires, mod_headers, mod_imap, mod_include, mod_info,
mod_jserv, mod_log_agent, mod_log_config, mod_log_referer, mod_mime,
mod_mime_magic, mod_mmap_static, mod_negotiation, mod_perl, mod_php4,
mod_proxy, mod_rewrite, mod_setenvif, mod_so, mod_speling, mod_status,
mod_unique_id, mod_userdir, mod_usertrack, and mod_vhost_alias.
(**Keep in mind that not ALL these work with the FrontPage extensions
installed on the server!)
BUT! ...When I log onto the server using FrontPage, it gives me THE
FOLLOWING information (which is probably more likely to be accurate. :-)).
It's my guess that the above info (Colossus info) is what they are using
'today' while my server was set up awhile ago and may have older versions
running....(?)
FrontPage Server Extensions Version: 3.0.2.1330
Server Version: Apache/1.2.4 PHP/FI-2.0
