test.php file cannot be executed

Hi guys, I build PhP 4.1.1 as a DSO module and successfully built libphp4.so library. I have edited php.ini and httpd.conf files and started the server. Unfortunatelly, when I try to access php file, the server doesn't understand php extension, and I am asked to either save or open the file. Did I forget to modify anything else? Thank you in advance!
