Any ideas? > Just a suggestion, but just because you don't proc up a daemon for sendmail to listen for incoming mail, you can still use the sendmail program on the local machine for the actual sending of the mail to your external server. Look at the sendmail stuff relating to "Smart Relay Hosts". There is an entry that can be added to sendmail.cf that looks like this. # "Smart" relay host (may be null) DSrelay:external.company.com Then you can leave PHP alone.
