Help -- URGENT!!1

Hi there: I know this should be very simple. I recently installed PHP on one mail server in order to start using some web-based pop interface. The problem is i'm new in PHP and have to do this ASAP. I followed all the step in the documentacion but when i try to load "test.php" i only get this: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, <admin email> and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
