Problem with librecode

Hello I have problem with php-4.0.2 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache_php4 --exec-prefix=/usr/local/apache_php4 --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache_php4/bin/apxs --with-recode=/usr/local/lib --with-imap --with-crypt --with-mysql --with-calendar --with-xml --with-java=/opt/jdk1.3-sun-rc1 --with-ldap --enable-sysvshm --with-mcal=/usr/local/mcal --with-swf=/usr/local/swf working OK, but if I add --with-pgsql it crashes: [...] checking for seteuid... no checking for setegid... no checking for setsid... no checking for getsid... no checking for setpgid... no checking for ctermid... no checking for mkfifo... no checking for getrlimit... yes checking whether to include pspell support... no checking for readline support... no checking for recode support... yes configure: error: I cannot link librecode (-L/usr/local/lib -lrecode).
