PHP4 on RH6.2 saves not executes

Hi, My Netscape browser will try to save the test.php file sugggested in the INSTALL doc. If I remove the AddType application/x-httpd-php .php from httpd.conf then it simply displays the contents of the file. httpd -l shows: httpd_core.c mod_so.c mod_php4.c The LoadModule and AddModule lines for php are presently commented out (as php is a static module). I got the same result with them not commented out when I compiled php and apache as a DSO. Except for the php4.0.3pl1 my setup is a standard RedHat V6.2. I have looked through the archives for this list and monitored this list for a couple of weeks but not seen anything that helps. I know I am going to kick myself when I find the answer, but I am out of ideas and am asking for help. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds. Regards Chris
