Greetings! Having problem with getting php to run. The error received is : The $cfgPmaAbsoluteUri directive MUST be set in your configuration file! I am trying to install it to a NT4.0 server with IIS 4.0 Latest php downloaded a week ago. Unzip to c:\php Copied the php*.dll files to winnt/system32 folder Copied ini file to winnt folder and renamed to php.ini Edited ini file pointing extension_dir to c:\winnt\system32 and uncommented most extension = php*.dll lines, except for those not found. Added new string value for .php via regedit Add App Mappings in IIS for .php using php.exe (BTW whats the difference betwn CGI and ISAPI module?) Stop and Start Default web page in IIS But got error when trying testing at server end. See error above. On remote PC, nothing happen. No error msg or whatsoever. BTW, got questions to ask with regards to installation notes. - how to give execute rights for I_USR_ to the directory that contains php.exe via IIS? Also, when I install it in a Win98 with PWS4 environment, it gives this error: The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. At another location, it says that CGI cannot execute or something like that. Any solution for errors found in Win98 platform. Thank you, Warmest regards, Meng Hai
