PHP 4.0.5 AND 4.2.2 on one Server?

Hi,
for compatibility reasons I need to install two versions of php (both have to be the apache_module version) on one server.
I can´t really think of a way to do this and couldn´t find anything in the archive or docs, although this must be a common problem. Can anyone give me a hint on how to do it?
