Php 4.2.0 in apache 2.0

Hey everyone. I'm having a problem getting php 4.2.0 working with apache
2.0. I set up everything the server works, apache displays an error message
saying it can't find the php4apache.dll file, whose path i've verified
serveral times. I'm on Win 2000 pro. Also I accidently deleted the file for
apache 1.3, which work with php, and now I can't get apache 1.3 out of my
registry. I can't uninstall, reinstall it, or anything. I downloaded those
installer packages from apache and they don't work either.
