PHP4 on HP-UX 11.0

Greetings. I have tried to compile PHP4 several times, both as a DSO and as a static module to Apache. The machine I'm using is a HP 9000/755 with OS HP-UX 11.0 and the version of Apache is 1.3.14. The compilation of Apache runs OK when I specify --enable-module=so, make on PHP4 is also OK, but make install on PHP4 displays the following: make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/php/php-4.0.3pl1' /usr/local/apache/apache_1.3.14/bin/apxs -i -a -n php4 libs/libphp4.sl apxs:Error: file libs/libphp4.sl is not a DSO make[1]: *** [install-sapi] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/php/php-4.0.3pl1' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 I have tried to search different sites for help, but so far without any luck. The only thing I have found is similar calls for help on HP's web. Grateful for any help.
