Hello all, first I would apologize for having posted false information in my last posting. Anyway, after a lot of 'hacking' ;) , I've found out what was going on. the missing file "lgds" at compile time is the interbase library. I've found a file named gds.so in the lib/ directory of interbase6 and an other one name libgds.a0 I think these are the files I need, but php configure script do not warn me that it doesn't find the libgds.a or libgds.so then at compile time I have the following error message : /usr/i386-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot open -lgds: No such file or directory So I've created a symbolic link from /usr/Projets/interbase/lib/libgds.a0 to /usr/lib/libgds.a Then compilation worked. I ran 'make install' and 'apachectl start' here is the problem : Syntax error on line 207 of /usr/Projets/Apache_1_3_14/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/Projets/Apache_1_3_14/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /usr/Projets/Apache_1_3_14/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: isc_dsql_execute What should I do ?? I 've also tried to do a symbolic link from /usr/Projets/interbase/lib/gds.so to /usr/lib/libgds.so 'make' worked but as I launched apache I've got the following message : Cannot load /usr/Projets/Apache_1_3_14/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /usr/Projets/Apache_1_3_14/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: DL_UNLOAD Please help, Interbase6 and PHP3 used to work well together ...
