Jason,
The part I couldn't figure out is what goes into each of those entries.
Specifically, java.library and java.library.path. Thanks for the quick
response.

Here are the required entries in php.ini to be filled with the directories
for the .jar class libraries and so forth:
[java]
java.home=
java.class.path=
java.library=
java.library.path=
extension=

Jason,
I noticed you fixed a compile bug in the php CVS recently regarding
running PHP+Java on Sun. This puts you in a similar boat with me
since I'm trying to do the same thing (I too ran across that bug only to
realize that you've already fixed it). BTW, I'm a total Sun newbie
but I do have to get PHP running on there.
What I'm getting is:
Unable to locate CreateJavaVM function in...
On Linux, this stuff was in the libjava.so or libjvm.so and I could
simply add the JDK directories to LD_LIBRARY_PATH. I have
no idea how to do the equivalent setup on Sun. Help?
Which JDK are you using? Also, are you at all trying to get Servlet
working with Tomcat or some such thing or just working with Java?
