After installing PHP4.0.3pl1, using both the WIN32 Installer (selecting IIS4 config) and using the standalone DLLs, I end up getting a 'CGI Error' while trying to load a .php page, not to mention the README explaination on manually configuring PHP for IIS4 is different than the way the WIN32 Installer is configuring IIS4. I am a bit confused.. When using the WIN32 Installer, It adds 'c:\php\php.exe %s %s' and .php in the Application Mappings, true in the website's individual configuration and the master WWW properties. When I set the permissions on the PHP directory to IUSR_(machinename) to read or full control, I get the following error: CGI Error The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are: -- I would expect it to return a list of errors, but that is all I see. On the other hand, the installation manual says use the ISAPI DLL for PHP installation for IIS4. I've also tried this, and it pops up an error on the server side saying 'The current path is not set to C:\WINNT, would you like to change the path to this?' gives the selection 'YES' or 'NO'. Clicking NO cancels the operation, and YES causes a crash of some sort, either way, PHP does not run. Thanks for any help you can give, --Marc Clerc http://www.fissionweb.net FissionWEB Networks
