I am also trying to get ezPublish to work. The problem for me seems that libxml is not compatible with php4.0.3pl1 Whenever I compile --with-dom, I get an error during compile. I was told to wait for php4.0.4 that would fix the problem (the current cvs version I think is already fixed). Yep, I know I have to do that. but, xml-support is buildt by default in php4.x, (using another library than libxml). I've also added the --with-dom=/usr/local to add the dom-xml-functions, but it doesn't seem to work. my whole configure-command looks like this, btw: './configure' '--with-apxs=/usr/local/sbin/apxs' '--with-dom=/usr/local' '--enable-versioning' '--with-system-regex' '--with-config-file-path=/usr/local/etc' '--disable-debug' '--enable-track-vars' '--without-gd' '--disable-pear' '--without-mysql' '--with-zlib' '--with-mysql=/usr/local' '--prefix=/usr/local' 'alpha--freebsd4.1' Lars Løvda -----Original Message----- From: Mattias Segerdahl [mailto:mattias@bitgeeks.com] Sent: 23. november 2000 21:07 To: Løvdal Lars Nicolai; Php-Install (E-mail) Subject: Re: [PHP-INST] Ez publisher You need to compile php with xml functions ----- Original Message ----- From: "Løvdal Lars Nicolai" <lalod@wmdata.no> To: "Php-Install (E-mail)" <php-install@lists.php.net> Sent: Thursday, November 23, 2000 8:37 PM Subject: [PHP-INST] Ez publisher Anyone tried this piece of code? I've been looking around for such a publishing service, and finally found ez-publish. (http://publish.ez.no) Anyway, I tried to install it, but I always get an error-message telling med Call to undefined function: xmltree() in ezarticle/classes/ezarticlerenderer.php on line 40 so, I look into the documentation, which tells me that mod_php4 has to be compiled with the --with-dom=<path-where libxml2.x is installed. I'm sure I've installed libxml (in /usr/local), and I've even tried to compile/install mod_php4 several times with different configure args, but still without luck. Does anyone know how I shall get mod_php4 (4.0.4pl1 in fact) configured the right way? the platform in FreeBSD4.1 for alpha, and I've installed mod_php4 from the ports-tree.
