The meaning of "/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmckcrypto" error message is that the c complirer can not find the needed library. Configure found it but compiler can't. I solved it by making a symlink from /usr/lib to the library files under /usr/local/mck-3.3.1-i586-pc-linux-gnulibc2.1/. Grant
