Hi folks!
I have hard problems to use PHP4 with the extensions of the GD lib :(
I tried many things which I found in different documents but I always get a
segmentation fault when I try to start the Apache.
This is my (test) config for PHP:
rothut:[php-4.0.3pl1] >./configure --prefix=/home/intern/hz/php
--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd
--enable-safe-mode --with-exec-dir=/usr/bin --with-system-regex
--disable-debug --with-zlib --with-gdbm --with-db2 --enable-debugger
--enable-magic-quotes --enable-track-vars --enable-sysvsem --enable-sysvshm
--with-xml --with-ftp --with-gnu-ld --enable-debug --with-gd=~/gd-1.8.3/
--with-mysql=/usr/lib
These are the last lines of the strace output:
open("/lib/libpthread.so.0", O_RDONLY) = 4
fstat(4, {st_mode=S_IFREG|0755, st_size=291093, ...}) = 0

[root@rothut /home/intern/hz/gd-1.8.3]#
Can anybody give me a working hint?
My system:
RedHat Linux, Kernel 2.2.16-3, PHP 4.0.3pl1, Apache 1.3.14
Thanks and regards,
Hauke
