I obtain the wrong message ( oopps, ok=-- ). , so ok is null.
thats coz regiser globals are off in ur php.ini
do this

if ($test=="ok") { // I have tried as well to put strcmp

echo "it works";
}
else echo "oopps, ok=$ok--";
?>
