Unfortunately the documentation I can't share trivially is all internal
docs of my work on the binaries for Covalent/SpringSource.
I have a number of scratch notes sitting around, and there are a bunch
of notes at
http://wiki.apache.org/httpd/Win32SourceConversion
http://wiki.apache.org/httpd/WindowsVistaPlatform
And I'll be writing quite a few more over the coming week or few.
Note you'll be confronting other issues like default IPv6 enabled for win,
a new directory layout for "user content" (e.g. the actual location of
such things as conf/, htdocs/ and cgi-bin/ etc) as opposed to the binaries
(still under Program Files etc). Probably C:\ProgramData\ tree or something
--- I still haven't figured out the One True Way these days for services.
My goal is an MSVCRT ecosystem for x86 and x64, while yours is a Studio9
ecosystem. These aren't incompatible goals if we work together.
