MS keeps changing it's mind _CRT_SECURE_NO_WARNINGS will kill the "use the secure version" warnings in 2008 _CRT_NONSTDC_NO_WARNINGS kills the _open i not standard C type warnings in 2005 these calls are _CRT_NONSTDC_NO_DEPRECATE just to really annoy you...
