The only thing I know of is that zend was doing different things with the pcre build for the non-thread safe version of PHP, and we wereWell, actually as I look at the current builds it doesn't seem like we do, but we should. The thing is removing NO_RECURSE from pcrelib build options for non-TS builds.
having some issues creating third party builds of some software (libmcrypt comes to mind)We have libmcrypt library built, but I do not see any special patches for the build... Maybe I could get access to the build machine to see what the problem is?
