The library shares nothing with the client, that's why it is safe to use it instead of trying to build firebird client libraries ourselves. Next snaps should have the latest versions. However the user is responsible to install firebird clients, just like with the Oracle drivers (f.e.). Cheers, -- Pierre @pierrejoye
