Not that I recall, on list. There has been discussion on and off in various chat rooms over the
last 3-ish years. The general pattern seems to be "that would be cool and useful! But how do
we define them, and how does autoloading work for something that's a one liner?" And
since no one has a good answer for that, it kinda dies there.
I wouldn't expect a formal discussion thread on it until someone has a solid proposal that
addresses those questions that they want to run up the flag pole. (Not that I think that's a
good process, but that's how things work right now, mostly.)
