it does seem self explanatory, now doesn't it. nevertheless none of the options, i.e. - - with - php - build = "Dir" where dir would actually point the compiler to where the win32build is... (as bison and the rest reside in win32build php.net/extra..) the fact that i posted a question does not mean i am either an idior or a newbie if it was self explanatory and solvable i wouldn't have posted.. anywayz there are other ways to make php 5.0.3 to work with MySQL 4.1 (i.e. change to OLD_Passwd) Alex ============================================= Alexander EG Turner Aon Turner Reinsurance Services S.A. 7, Granikou Str., 151 25 ATHENS GREECE Tel: +30 210 6386700 Fax: +30 210 6386790 Vlad Bosinceanu <vladb@pseudo-infinity.ro> 15/12/2004 18:05 To: Alexander_Turner@aonre.gr cc: internals@lists.php.net Subject: Re: [PHP-DEV] Compile problem I never compiled anything under windows, but the errors seem pretty self-explanatory. >Checking for bison.exe ... <not found> >Checking for flex.exe ... <not found> >Checking for re2c.exe ... <not found> >Checking for zip.exe ... <not found> >Checking for lemon.exe ... <not found> > Vlad
