There are still some strtotime() issues to work out.
echo date("m d Y",strtotime("Jan 14, 2004"));
correctly gives: 01 14 2004
echo date("m d Y",strtotime("Jan.14, 2004"));
gives: 06 21 2005
This broke one of my apps in a rather hard-to-debug way.
