You can use
if (!($obj instanceof SomeRarelyUsedClass)) ;)
Why statement $obj instanceof NotLoadedClass can't evaluate as FALSE
if class not loaded (what with serialized objects?) because if class not
loaded, than object can't be instanceof this class, right?
