Do you think it would weed out some of the support requests if there were
links or directions in various places in the bug submission process that
pointed people towards third-party providers of PHP support (commercial,
free, or otherwise)?
To some extent, this is tilting at windmills because there will always be
users who submit bogus bug reports (I've submitted my share). But maybe it
would weed out some of them?
I don't have any particular PHP support providers in mind, but maybe if
people could sign up with a URL, what they support, etc. then they could
offload some of the bogus requests from the QA folks.
