New features show up in PHP by 1 of 2 paths. 1. An existing PHP developer has a need/requirement for a certain feature, so he implements it. 2. An external developer shows up with an interesting feature and it gets adopted and he/she joins the project. I think you are looking for an option 3 here. You are stating a need and hoping someone will write something. That pretty much never works on anything except trivial things. -RasmusUntil there is an implementation out there that is in common use, the question of whether to bundle it or not is rather premature.Until there is a standard (planned or de-facto) and widely installed implementation (ie, one that is bundled with php ;) I doubt that any will be in common use, at any time.
