and it breaks existing apps.I've never seen such apps and I doubt they even exist. And they do, this is PHP3 legacy stuff which won't work in PHP6 anyway.
We have also discussed this and decided against it after it was posted as one of the suggestions from the Paris meeting. No need to go over the same argument again.-- Wbr, Antony Dovgal
