As promised a week ago, the 5.2.6RC2 was released today and the sources for the release can be found here:
http://downloads.php.net/ilia/php-5.2.6RC2.tar.bz2 (md5sum: d99362aad64dc630b8a684751a2c7302)
Windows binaries should become available in short order as well.
All in all the feedback on RC1 has been largely positive and there have been very few changes to the code base since, which usually is a sign we are ready for the final release. Please try RC2 against your code and let us know if you encounter any new problems or regressions. If no critical issues appear, the final release will come out next week.
